The Seventh Spice
A Romance Novel
Author, Dr. Judy A. White
The Seventh Spice is Dr. Judy A. Littlejohn’s first feel-good romance novel. Colorful and rich in culture, The Seventh Spice is about a Belizean lady named Taylor King and an Indian gentleman named Aryan Batra who encounter a chance meeting in India.
Taylor is gifted a two-week trip to Agra, India from her best friend Miriam, who could not travel due to her mother’s illness. While Taylor feels undeserving of such a generous gift, Miriam persuades her to take the trip as she feels it could be life-changing for her best friend. Eventually, Taylor accepts the gift.
While in India, as Taylor is getting checked in at the hotel’s front desk, her eyes catch the eyes of a gentleman who she is immediately drawn to. What she doesn’t know is that the hotel she is staying at is owned by one of the gentleman’s uncles. Taylor wonders whether she will ever get to meet this mystery man until one day she does.
As a friendship quickly buds – and to their surprise – Taylor and Aryan learn they both live in the United States just two states apart – Massachusetts and Connecticut. During their stay in India, excitement builds over the promise of reconnecting once they return home from India.
Upon returning to Connecticut, Aryan receives disturbing news from his father back home in India followed by an even more perturbing discovery which threatens to mar his character.
The Seventh Spice inspires hope for those desiring to find true love. This romance novel is about being in the right place at the right time, discerning the possibility of true love, being open to it, and pursuing and embracing it.
The Seventh Spice is both lovely and generous with acts of kindness.
